Uee‘s sexy and alluring look has been revealed through a recent photo shoot.
Uee’s Vogue Korea photo shoot was revealed on July 25 where she displayed her perfect body in sexy outfits. She posed on a carousel, utilizing the pole to emphasize her sexy look.
During the interview, Uee said, “When people think of poles, they think of clubs but to us, we call it ‘pole art.’ If the song was too flashy, we thought it would sound like any other club music so we chose a sad song,” and “At first, it looked easy so we quickly made a decision to do it. But it really hurt so bad that it felt that our skin was ripping. When I couldn’t practice much because of my drama, I felt so rushed that I started to cry. But I kept trying hard until I could finally do the moves that I couldn’t before and I eventually fell into the art of pole dancing. I wanted to show off this art as quickly as possible.”
It seems like the physical efforts didn’t stop at pole dancing since Uee has been working hard yet again for the diving mission through “Barefoot Friends.”
Uee plans to carry out her solo activities as well as After School‘s overseas activites in the meantime.

“NoNoNo” by girl group Apink jumped up two places this week into the number two spot on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100.
Written by Shinsadong Tiger, the visually striking video for “NoNoNo,” directed Zany Bros., could have played a role in the song’s climb up the charts.
Infinite’s new song “Destiny” made a massive jump in its second week on the Billboard K-pop chart.
The seven-piece boy band’s new single is currently at number three after debuting last week at number 43.
The group also took earned the number one spot on South Korean music network Mnet’s “M!Countdown” this week, narrowly beating out Ailee’s “U&I.”
And another major chart mover this week is the song “It’s Raining” by Kang Seung Yoon.
One of YG Entertainment’s newest releases, “It’s Raining” is Kang’s first song after being eliminated from the television singing competition “Superstar K2″ three years ago.
And rounding out the Billboard K-pop top five, BEAST’s “Shadow” debuted at number five.
Featuring a darkly futuristic video and an eerie musical backdrop, “Shadow,” like the rest of the songs on the bands new album, “Hard to Love, How to Love” is a creative step forward for the band.
Billboard Magazines’s Jeff Benjamin agrees.
“Four years into their career, the sextet has crafted an LP that highlights the range of their ability,” Benjamin wrote in a glowing review of the group’s new album published on Wednesday.
“From high-energy, genre-twisting bangers to the straightforward, vocally impressive ballads, Beast continues to be one of most-impressive K-pop acts out there.”

Park Han Byul Received Around Nine Million USD in One Week for Latest Film

It has been reported that Park Han Byul received around nine million USD in just one week for her latest film, “Bi Xian II” (or “Bunshinsaba 2“).
After hitting theaters on July 17, the film reached a record high in the Chinese box office for horror films, bringing in about 1.8 million USD.
The Chinese media reported, “It is currently summer vacation season and there are about 20 films out in theaters. ‘Bi Xian II’ is playing in over 2,000 theaters and has taken the number one spot in sales. Korean director Ahn Byung Ki and actress Park Han Byul were the ones who set this record for the first time in Chinese horror film history.”
The media also praised Park Han Byul’s fluent Chinese in the film and introduced her as the first Korean actress to take the lead of a successful Chinese film.
Park Han Byul’s agency stated, “Park Han Byul felt very burdened at her Chinese lines and having to show her acting skills at the same time so she deeply thought about the casting call from Ahn Byung Ki in the beginning. Since she had to perfectly speak Chinese in the film, she even slept with her Chinese lines playing in the background. She really put a lot of effort into this film.”
Meanwhile, Park Han Byul is busy shooting over five advertisements and looking through her next project in Korea.

T-ara's Hyomin Looks Shy in New Japanese Movie Poster

T-ara‘s Hyomin has been cast as the leading role for the first time in her career, in an upcoming Japanese film “JINX” and the movie poster has been released.
Hyomin has been cast along with Japan’s up and coming actors Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki for “JINX,” which is directed by the famous Naoto Kumazawa. Director Naoto Kumazawa also worked with “From Me To You” in the past.
Hyomin will play a Korean international student Ji Ho and will experience love and friendship with two of her Japanese classmates.
This film is being produced by the same company that worked with “Love Letter,” “Satorare,” and “Bayside Shakedown,” which is drawing many eyes.
Hyomin traveled back and forth from Korea to Japan in February and March for this film. “JINX” will hit theaters in Japan on November 16.

Girls’ Generation rocks fans in Taiwan

Leading K-pop group Girls’ Generation has successfully kicked off the first international leg of its “Girls & Peace” tour with two big shows in Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan.
Over the weekend, Girls’ Generation entertained 22,000 fans at two shows, singing 28 songs including such hits as “Gee”, “Tell Me Your Wish” and “The Boys”.
Prior to the concert, the group held a press conference on Friday in Taiwan, where a throng of local media swarmed the event.
Girls’ Generation‘s Girls & Peace tour is slated to continue through Asia, North America and more, although only one show in Singapore in October has been announced so far.

2NE1′s tasteful combination of reggae and hip hop were cited as perfect ingredients for a light, fun-filled summer atmosphere. The music video solidified the success of the single by featuring top domestic actors Lee Soo Hyuk and Hong Jong Hyun.

Brown Eyed Girls Releases Track List for "Black Box"

Brown Eyed Girls will be making their comeback soon, and in preparation released the track list for their upcoming album, “Black Box,” through a picture on their official Facebook page. 
The group had already released a casual teaser photo of the group surrounded by snacks and pillows. The track list was presented simply on a paper and has the title of the nine tracks on the album: “After Club,” “Fly Away,” “Kill Bill,” “Boy,” “Satisfaction,” “Mystery Survivor,” “That’s a Lie,” “Recipe,” and “Good Fellows.” On July 9, the group released the single “Recipe,” which achieved an all-kill on music charts. There has yet to be an announcement on what their title track will be. 
Brown Eyed Girls will be having their first comeback stage July 28 on SBS’ “Inkigayo.”

AOA Black Releases Series of Teaser Images for Upcoming Comeback

Girl group AOA‘s upcoming band unit AOA Black has revealed several teaser images.
The first photo contains AOA Black members Jimin, Choa, Yuna, Youkyung and Mina, all dressed in white and looking up at their comeback date of July 26.
A second series of photos was released on July 16, containing single shots of each member. All of the members hold up a sign that says, “What?” in different languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese and Thai.
AOA Black will release their first teaser clip on July 17 through the FNC Entertainment homepage.
Meanwhile, AOA will be holding their second overseas showcase in Japan on July 23.
AOA debuted with “Elvis” and released a second single titled “Get Out.” Both tracks have been released in two different versions, one band and one dance.

SISTAR’s Hyorin Apologizes On Twitter For Not Looking Like She Was Having More Fun At A Recent Fan Event

Singer Hyorin of chart-topping K-pop girl group SISTAR was forced to apologize on Twitter this week.

Lead singer Hyorin of chart-topping K-pop girl group SISTAR was forced to apologize on Twitter this week, after footage of her not appearing to be enjoying herself at a recent autograph signing for fans of the group, caused an online backlash, according to the website allkpop.
“Hello, this is Hyorin. I’m so sorry because I think I unintentionally disappointed you guys at the fan signing,” the singer wrote.
“The event where I was actually with the fans was a fun time for me. However, I think my candid actions with the fans was enough to cause a misunderstanding. From now on, I will not disappoint you guys. I’m sorry. I will be Hyorin who tries her best.”
A representative from the group’s record label Starship Entertainment claims the photograph doesn’t tell the whole story.
“The overall mood of the fan signing was good,” the rep explained.
“We think there was a misunderstanding from the short clip. Hyorin normally greets her fans candidly. The fans weren’t offended since it was a fan-meeting situation. We hope there aren’t any misunderstandings.”
K-pop fan Teikitekahioho sees Hyorin’s behavior as part of a pattern.
“I feel sorry for her, but lately I found her less enthusiastic,” Teikitekahioho wrote in response to the allkpop article. “It’s been a while since I heard her laughing.”
But SISTAR fan lili3456 feels everyone should give the star a break.
“I actually feel sorry for her,” she wrote.
“Yes, maybe she was rude, but how many of us have had a bad day and took it out on others? She was probably tired as hell, felling bad and had to work for many hours more. I would be a mess too. She did something wrong and apologized. Good for her for not making excuses for her behavior but taking responsibility for that.”
Perhaps Hyorin missed a meal, although not reportedly a common occurrence for her band.
Earlier this month, over a late lunch at a Korean restaurant, the members of SISTAR opened up to the Mnet program “M! Countdown” about how they avoid starving themselves to stay thin.
“To show a healthy image, we just have to eat,” Dasom said.
“We can’t sing without food. We do get something called ‘camera massage,’ so we don’t gain as much weight as we used to.”
“We don’t gain weight, but we don’t lose either,” Soyoo quipped.

Members Of KARA Weigh Their Options As Record Contract With DSP Media Winds Down

The members of South Korean girl group KARA are reportedly weighing their options regarding their record deal with DSP Media
The members of South Korean girl group KARA are reportedly weighing their options regarding their record deal with DSP Media, in light of their contract coming up for renewal at the end of the year.
According to a representative for DSP Media, the group is not legally bound to remain on the record label.
“The KARA members’ contract with the company will expire early next year,” the rep told the Korea Star Daily, according to a report from the publication on Tuesday.
“We are currently in discussions with them, and there are a variety of possibilities which include contract extension, or joining other companies.”
One potential problem for KARA if they should opt to switch record labels, is that while members Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon, Nicole and Goo Hara all have contracts with DSP Media that expire in January, the band’s youngest member Kang Ji Young is signed through April.
“There is still some time until the expiry of their contracts, so the members haven’t decided on whether they will [renew their contract] or move on to other companies,” the rep said.
“The members are likely to discuss among themselves, but we won’t be interfering with their decision making.”
Once the report was published regarding KARA weighing their options, DSP Media representative executives rushed to clarify that no serious negotiations are currently underway, according to the publication Star News.
“It is still too early to negotiate on renewing contracts,” DSP Media wrote in an official statement.
“Although the members have differences in the amount of time they have left, the fastest one to expire is still six months away, so it’s not at a stage where anything is being decided on.”
Yet the record company’s statement stopped short of speculating whether KARA had brought up the matter internally.
“The members could have discussed renewing their contracts among themselves, but there hasn’t been any specific talk between the agency and the members about the contract yet,” the statement read.
KARA is currently preparing for their second Japanese tour entitled “KARASIA” 2013. The tour will consist of two-day stints in the Japanese cities of Yokohama, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Kobe.
The publication Popdust recently called KARA “the most successful Korean girl group to ever hit Japan.”

On July 12, Orange Caramel met with 130 people who were selected through a raffle system for a sign meeting at the Seoul Fine Arts Theater. Fans hungry for an exciting journey showed a heated interest in the book. There were a large number of international fans from China, Japan, and Thailand, showing Orange Caramel’s popularity in other countries.

Orange Caramel’s “Youth Travel” isn’t your ordinary, boring travel book. Rather than simply telling about places, it tells audiences to look for the happiness in the small things. The book features small essays and vibrant pictures of the girls visiting places in Seoul, Jeolla, and Jeonju.

Skarf, the first Singaporean-Korean group, will be holding an exclusive showcase in the hometown of Tasha and Ferlyn.
Skarf will make their Singaporean fans’ dreams come true as they are up to perform in Singapore on August 11 on their ‘Dreams Come True’ showcase. Aside from their performance, the fans who will be there will also get their albums autographed and photos with Skarf.
Skarf debuted in August 2012 with four members originally, but in December 2012, they became five consisting of Tasha (Singapore), Ferlyn (Singapore), JooA (Korea), Hana (Korea) and Jenny (Korea).
