Narsha Admits Her Band Brown Eyed Girls Gets Treated Like Old Ladies: ‘They Are Giving Too Much Respect To Their Elders’ She Jokes
We are happy and sad at the same time [about being veteran performers]," Narsha said, according to the website allkpop.
Singer Narsha of the four-piece girl group Brown Eyed Girls, says that although she and her bandmates like the respect that comes with having been around for a few years, they don’t want to be treated like old ladies.
Brown Eyed Girls was formed in 2006.
“We are happy and sad at the same time [about being veteran performers],” Narsha said, according to the website allkpop.
“There are a lot of idols who we don’t know, and they all come up to us first and greet us. But there is no one for us to greet as our juniors.”
Narsha admitted that she and the other members of Brown Eyed Girls have a difficult time restraining their maternal instincts with some of the younger artists, yet the special treatment they often receive from them makes the group feel old.
“When we look at the [new artists], they are really pretty,” Narsha said.
“Although we are also a girl group, we think that we are different so rather than a competition, we just naturally show our mommy smiles. It also seems like we are being treated more formally. Now we get to use our own dressing room. Although we are thankful for the care, they are giving too much respect to their elders.”
Narsha also opened up about the way that the groups’ tough onstage persona has given the people in their real life a false impression of who they really are.
“The most regrettable thing is that on stage, we’ve been showing a strong and fierce…character, so that image gets transferred to every other aspect of our life,” she said.
“Each one of us is fun, but we’re unable to show all of our personalities. If you get to know us, we are nice [girls]. We’re also [far from perfect], and we’re funny in some aspects.”
Narsha claims that in reality, she and her Brown Eyed Girls bandmates are the best kind of friends to have.
“Our biggest strength is that we’re honest,” said the 31-year-old singer.
The group’s leader JeA, also 31, discussed how the band’s desire to perform seems to grow the longer that they do it.
“As we start our promotions and perform on stage more and more, we form a thirst for it,” JeA said.
“We plan to try out more things in the future. If the public approves, we have a lot to show genre and concept-wise. We hope that fans see Brown Eyed Girls’ various charms.”

Uee Becomes Alluring Carousel Girl in Vogue Korea
Uee‘s sexy and alluring look has been revealed through a recent photo shoot.
Uee’s Vogue Korea photo shoot was revealed on July 25 where she displayed her perfect body in sexy outfits. She posed on a carousel, utilizing the pole to emphasize her sexy look.
During the interview, Uee said, “When people think of poles, they think of clubs but to us, we call it ‘pole art.’ If the song was too flashy, we thought it would sound like any other club music so we chose a sad song,” and “At first, it looked easy so we quickly made a decision to do it. But it really hurt so bad that it felt that our skin was ripping. When I couldn’t practice much because of my drama, I felt so rushed that I started to cry. But I kept trying hard until I could finally do the moves that I couldn’t before and I eventually fell into the art of pole dancing. I wanted to show off this art as quickly as possible.”
It seems like the physical efforts didn’t stop at pole dancing since Uee has been working hard yet again for the diving mission through “Barefoot Friends.”
Uee plans to carry out her solo activities as well as After School‘s overseas activites in the meantime.
